Robert Neville (Heston), the doctor, due to an experimental vaccinum, is the exclusively survivor of an apocalyptical war waged sustaining bioweapon. A plague from either a war has flushed everyone else except for two or three 100 distorted, nocturnal population calling themselves "The Family".
